If there is one realm in which it is essential to be sublime, it is in wickedness. You spit on a petty thief, but you can't deny a kind of respect for the great criminal.

--Denis Diderot

Valefor, Calabite Prince of Theft, is a famously accomplished thief and the patron of countless demonic ne'er-do-wells.

Theft[]

Valefor's Word is pretty simple to understand: given the importance of law, and particularly property, its opposition is also significant. The Word of Theft is advanced by people taking what is not (was not) theirs. Note that this is not limited to physical objects -- Valefor and his minons are also known for stealing such intangibles as a victim's dignity or sense of security as part of their operations.

Relations with Other Superiors[]

Valefor is allied with Andrealphus. He understandably counts Asmodeus and his rulebook-waving fascist underlings as enemies. (The Prince of the Game returns the mistrust, finding it a little too convenient that Valefor's underlings and methods superficially resemble those of Janus.) He finds Kronos just as despicable, despite his alleged importance to Hell.

Advincula[]

There is always stuff to steal!

More specifically, a lot of companies in the science park are heavy on intellectual property and trade secrets.
