"Man has almost constant occasion for the help of his brethren, and it is in vain for him to expect it from their benevolence only."
-Adam Smith, The Wealth of Nations
Trade is all about fair and voluntary exchange. There is considerable overlap at times with Lilith's ideals, but the pervasive difference is that Marc sees commerce as a tool with which to improve the lot of all. Trade uses economics to manage the flow of power in the world in an efficient and humane fashion. It is recognized that fair trade can lead to unequal outcomes, and Marc's servitors do try to help the poor out when they can: especially if it's by way of giving them a fair chance to help themselves.
Relations with Other SuperiorsEdit
Marc doesn't really believe in playing favorites with the other Archangels, and although some have strong opinions about him, for his part he won't let either grudges or affinities get in the way of a profitable deal.
With all the business going on in the Advincula Science Park, it'd be surprising if Marc's agents weren't down there somewhere helping things along.
